1.1 Personal Data

When you log in to the App using your Google account, we collect the following personal information:

• Google ID: A unique identifier provided by Google to associate your generated books and TEK credits with your account.
• Email Address: Used for account identification and communication.
• Display Name and Profile Picture: Used to personalize your experience within the App.

1.2 In-App Purchase Data

When you purchase "TEK" (the App's virtual credits) via Google Play Billing, we collect the Google Play Purchase Token. This is strictly used to verify the authenticity of the purchase with Google servers and to credit your account. We do not store your credit card details or financial information.

1.3 User-Generated Content

We collect the prompts (ideas/instructions) you enter to generate books. This data is processed by our backend servers and third-party AI providers (such as OpenRouter, Google, and Anthropic) to generate the requested content.

2. Artificial Intelligence & Content Ownership

BookGen AI uses Generative Artificial Intelligence models to create book content based on your prompts.

Content Ownership: You retain 100% ownership of the books and content generated through the App. We do not claim any copyright over the stories you create.

Content Processing: Your prompts and the generated text are temporarily processed to create the book. The generated books (EPUB, DOCX, TXT) are stored securely on our external servers to allow you to read, download, and share them.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

• To authenticate users and manage account sessions.
• To process In-App Purchases and manage TEK credit balances.
• To generate, store, and retrieve your generated books.
• To maintain the security and integrity of the App.

4. Data Sharing and Third Parties

We do not sell or rent your personal data. We share your data only with the following third parties to provide the App's core functionalities:

• Google Play Services & Google Identity: For user authentication (Sign in with Google) and processing In-App Purchases.
• Third-Party AI APIs: We send your text prompts to AI providers (e.g., OpenRouter, Anthropic, Google Gemini) to generate the book content. These providers process the data strictly to return the AI generation result.

5. Data Security

We value your trust in providing us your information. We strive to use commercially acceptable means to protect your data.

Encryption in Transit: All data exchanged between the App and our servers (or third-party servers) is encrypted using HTTPS/TLS protocols.

6. Data Retention and Deletion

We retain your personal data and generated books for as long as your account is active.

Right to Erasure: You have the right to request the deletion of your account, personal data, and all generated books at any time. To request data deletion, please contact us at the email provided below.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe we have collected information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately so we can delete such information.
